What’s in My Go Bag

August 16, 2007

I was reading Lifehacker.com earlier, like I usually do, and they had a post titled Show Us Your Go Bag. I thought cool. I should do that, but when I emptied my bag out on the floor, I was in no mood to organize that mess. So I passed. It was quite funny, however, looking through all the photos of the bags and the contents that get hauled around on a daily basis by other people. You could almost get a sense of what the person was like. But I couldn’t help but think, no one’s bag is that organized.

The most echoed comment in the comment area was, “You guys carry around way too much stuff.” I agree, but I also understand. It sucks to be without your stuff.

This is what my bags looks like if I just dump it out. It’s just a big pile of junk. But below I’ve organized it so you can see what a techie carries around with her on a daily basis. Yes, it’s heavy.

Click the photo to go to Flickr to see a quick description of what everything is. I used the notes feature to identify everything. I love Flickr. Anyway, if you’re inspired, show me what’s in your bag.
