What I’m Doing Today
January 4, 2008- trying to figure out why Iowa is so important today. Financial boon for them. Nominations mean squat really. My 2 cents. #
- the only non-incumbent candidate to win his party’s caucus and go on to win the general election was George W. Bush in 2000 #
- is thinking she doesn’t want her favorite to win his/her party’s caucus tonight. Might be bad luck. Why is Iowa more important than Hawaii? #
- Oh my. You are right @ladawn People in Iowa get together in churches and schools for the caucus, like a town hall meeting. Wow! #
- except in 1992 Clinton was 4th in Iowa @caitcody. I’m thinking it would be nice to have gen election like Iowa caucus but not just in Iowa #
- is checking out Talk Shoe. Trying to get in to listen to The Educational Ning-Cast #
- TalkShoe layout is strange. 28-30 people trying to figure it out. #
- is not aware that there is anyone other than Obama and Hillary on the Dem side.
# - gave up on the TalkShoe show. They couldn’t figure out how to mute everyone’s mics. Audio was poor and the chat flow was just weird. #
- is amazed at how much Obama sounded like ML King tonight. His enunciation, pacing, repetition. Even the message. #
- wondering if @scottstead heard anything inspiring tonight. #
- The caucus speeches after the vote tonight were a little different @scottstead I was surprised. Even Edwards was inspiring. It’s heating up. #
- Almost finished with our day of learning. Sitting in an email etiquette. Class is full. Go figure. #
- is getting bored with this low level tech stuff. Ready for home so I can get some work done. Coming to work is a waste of time. #
