NaNoExoMo Going Great for First Two Weeks

Nov 14th, 2010 | By | Category: Adventure, All About Me, Heath & Fitness

So I made NaNoExoMo because November is the month where groups organize to do something everyday for a whole month. The most absurd to me is writing a whole novel in a month (NaNoWriMo is an annual (November) novel writing project). Well, I most certainly wasn’t going to do that. For the past two years […]

Making Collard Green & Black-Eyed Pea Soup (VloMo10 Day 3)

Nov 3rd, 2010 | By | Category: Video, Vlogging

Today’s VloMo video comes courtesy of my Canon Rebel T1i. I’ve never shot a video using my SLR camera before, so I wanted to give it a try. It’s not easy because the camera doesn’t self focus if you move in or out. You have to focus the camera and then shoot, so I have […]

Biking to Vote (VloMo10 Day 2)

Nov 2nd, 2010 | By | Category: Video, Vlogging

I decided that I would cut down on short car trips by riding my bike. So today, I rode my bike down to the church to vote. This video was shot using a ContourHD helmet cam that was clamped to my handlebars. I doubled the speed in iMovie and added a little music. Enjoy.

It’s That Time of the Year Again – November

Nov 1st, 2010 | By | Category: Video, Vlogging

Yep, November. November has turned into that month where people commit to outrageous things like writing a novel in a month or posting to their blog everyday for 30 days. For the past two years I’ve joined in on the fun and joined NaVloPoMo – post a video once a day for a month. It […]

New Portable Document Camera Review

Jul 16th, 2010 | By | Category: All About Me, Technology

Last week I was reading my feeds in Google Reader, and I came across a post by Steve Dembo (@Teach42) titled: Accessorizing the iPad. I don’t own an iPad but I wanted to see what new accessories people were using with it. In his post, Steve writes about different methods for displaying the content on […]

New Shock on my Mtn Bike

Jun 29th, 2010 | By | Category: News

Thanks to Sun Cyclery on 7th St & Bethany Home for installing my new front shocks. There was really nothing wrong with the old ones besides having the claws ripped off in a freak brain freeze mishap last year. I forgot the bike was on the roof of my suv, and I ran into the […]

My Top 10 Favorite Android Apps

Jun 15th, 2010 | By | Category: All About Me, Mobile, Technology

Okay, someone asked, so here is my list of my top 10 apps. I’ve been rockin’ the Motorola Droid for about 7 months now. I love this phone, even though I covet the HTC Droid Incredible. But things just wouldn’t be right if I didn’t covet some piece of technology even when I have a […]
